Where We Work & Our Impact

A regional mandate, currently focused on Ethiopia.

OJAH works across the Horn of Africa, a region shaped by complex conflict dynamics, grave human rights violations, displacement, political instability, and persistent barriers to accountability. Our geographic priorities evolve based on survivor needs, patterns of violations, security conditions, and accountability opportunities.

Survivor needs
Where affected communities ask us to document and support.
Patterns of violations
Where credible evidence points to systemic abuse.
Security & access
Where safe, ethical documentation is possible.
